Crocs are typically found in wetlands ranging from Costal fringes to Rivers and estuaries, Swamps, and billabongs, from Brackish Dark Waters, to the clear blue Coral reefs.

Crocs will usually sit on the river banks to heat there body temperatures. But in the warmer months of the year, even Crocs will retreat to a shady area to avoid the harmful rays of the direct Sunlight

Crocodiles are semi aquatic (Semi-a-qua-tic) this means they can spend a lot of time in and out of the water. Crocs can walk across rough terrain for many miles.
They predominantly feed at night, so as they have all day to digest there food in the sweltering heat.

will stop eating until there body temperatures increase again. They will get up on the mudflats (Banks), and bask in the sun.
Once they have heated up they will slide back in to the water.

If a Crocodile couldn’t get warm enough to digest its food, the food in the Crocs stomach would have to rot before digestion could take place.
